Existing PAL cameras were replaced with 5 Megapixel units using the same outdoor housing and coaxial cabling
The solutions secures key areas around the perimeter of the building

Unique Security Solutions who provide the CCTV security system at CityPoint, the largest commercial office building in the City of London, has completed over a year of recording multi-megapixel video using J2K Video's SharpView solution.

The solution secures key areas around the perimeter of the building and includes continuous recording of video from 5 Megapixel cameras onto 19-inch rack mountable SharpView Recorder.

Adrian Roberts, CCTV Manager at Unique Security said of the system "this is the best video security product on the market and we are pleased to have reached the 1 year milestone for recording which I believe is unique in itself." He added that the quality of images obtained from the system are so good that they never want to go back to the PAL cameras.

J2K Video Ltd provided Unique Security with their SharpView system in February 2007. Existing PAL cameras were replaced with 5 Megapixel units using the same outdoor housing and coaxial cabling. The recorder consists of 4 Terabytes of RAID-3 recording and the system is integrated, with the established 160 PAL cameras and recorders using SharpView Manager Professional  security management system.
