Event Overview:

Myanmar, Southeast Asia's final business frontier

Myanmar is a country in the midst of historic transformation. As evident from the frenetic pace of economic reforms being introduced, the current administration is committed to reintegrating Myanmar into the global business community. Therefore the scope of security and protection needs to expand and evolve considerably. These new levels of complexity arising from this expansion will also challenge the global security capacity to address and anticipate new emerging threats.

Geographically, Myanmar is well placed to evolve into a regional hub for freighted goods in Asia, due to its proximity to Vietnam, Thailand, India and China. Hence, the interest of many foreign investors in this new and exciting market.

In view of the world demand for security equipment which is expected to increase to $117 billion in 2016, this event will maximise the security business opportunities in the region. Having that in mind, Myanmar Security Expo, organised by MP Singapore, is the first ever security exhibition in Myanmar, dedicated to the security community.

Happening from 30 September - 2 October 2015, Myanmar Security Expo will be the only security exhibition that is dedicated to the security industry in Myanmar and the region, and is an ideal business platform for companies which are interested in safety and security equipment and solutions. The three-day event will host some 100 international and local exhibitors with around 5,000 trade and professional visitors.
