DEFEA - Defence Exhibition Athens

DEFEA - Defence Exhibition Athens, is the international defence exhibition that is going to take place from 13th to 15th of July 2021 in Athens, Greece and it is organised under the auspices and the strong collaboration of the Ministry of National Defence of Greece- General Directorate for Defence Investments and Armaments (GDDIA), by the Association of Hellenic Manufacturers of Defence Material (SEKPY) and ROTA Exhibitions Greece. 

More than 243 exhibitors of the defence industry from the Greek and international markets from more than 21 countries are already participating and will demonstrate the latest technologies in land, sea, air and national security either as part of a National Pavilion or independently. 

The exhibition, which aims to become a point of reference for South-eastern Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean, targets a highly specialised audience of the international defence and security community, with more than 67 international delegations invited, at the level of Minister, General Secretary, Chief of Army, Air Force, Navy, security forces and Armaments Directorate creating a new platform for collaborations and synergies. 

A series of networking and business events will be held during DEFEA like the Conference, the Academy, the Reception Gala and others, that will give exhibitors the opportunity to develop their business activity, communicate their product or service, and also grow their professional contacts.

DEFEA – Defence Exhibition Athens will take place at the Metropolitan Expo exhibition centre, at Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”, the largest and most modern exhibition centre in South-eastern Europe, with a total exhibition space of 50,000 square metres. 

DEFEA will also present an Airport Static Display where a specific facility at Athens International Airport will be available exclusively for static aeroplane and helicopter display and a Naval Display, a specific facility at Lavrio Port for naval display and visiting ships.
