Asia IoT Business Platform Vietnam 2018 - Access to Vietnam's enterprise IoT market
The Government of Vietnam has pledged to invest USD 111.6m in the ICT sector by 2020, incentivising local and international firms to invest in the country. In 2013, the Ministry of Science and Technology set up Silicon Valley Startup Ecosystem to stimulate growth and encourage Vietnamese to venture into tech startups.
In 2016, Hoa Lac IoT Lab – the first IoT lab in Vietnam – was officially launched and it aims to support technology startups focusing on IoT to build applications and solutions in Vietnam.
Supported by Indonesia Cloud Computing Association, Asia IoT Business Platform brings together over 200 senior stakeholders from government, telecommunications, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, healthcare, banking and financial services to discuss the challenges and opportunities presented by IoT.
