Esser GM 565 Intruder detector
Technical Specification
- Make: Esser
- Model code: GM 565
- Accessories: Structure-borne sound detector
- Power Supply: 12
- Operating Temp oC: -20 ~ +60
The GM 565 structure-borne sound detector is suitable for monitoring safes, money vaults and strongrooms for attacks with the whole range of intrusion equipment such as diamond spot-weld removers, hydraulic pressing tools, oxygen lances as well as for attacks with explosives. When working with hard material such as concrete, steel and plastic armouring, mass movements are generated, which in turn produces vibrations that propagate as structure-borne sound in the material. The structure-borne sound detector sensor fixed to the object, which is to be protected, receives these signals and converts them into electric signals. The detector electronics analyses these signals in a selected frequency range that is typical of intrusion equipment, and triggers an alarm signal via a relay contact.
