Microprocessor-controlled intrusion detection computer with the option of supporting loops such as the EDA linear technology applied in the 5007 intrusion detection computer. Therefore a 5007 intrusion detection computer can be replaced, using its complete peripherals, by new control unit technology. All peripherals such as detectors, arming devices and signalling devices can be used without making any changes in the installation. In addition, an extension reserve of 30 to 40 % is generated. Besides motherboard and loop card, micro module plug-in cards, which are used for including 4 zone EDA modules, are installed in the housing.
