Dedicated Micros are releasing a Software Development Kit (SDK) for use with their DV-IP range of hardware which provides remote monitoring of video via a network infrastructure. The DV-IP product range currently consists of video servers and multiple software applications that offer viewing and control of live and recorded video, notification of alarms (external, motion or scheduled) and remote configuration of the server. Standard software supplied with the DV-IP offers a viewing application for viewing and control of the DV IP server, database configuration, watermarking of transferred files and playback software for off-line playback.

The Software Development Kit (SDK), however, enables integrators the facility to create a whole new application designed around their requirements allowing them to meet the demands of their target market - Education, Health, Transportation, Finance, or other specific markets.

The Software Development Kit (SDK) includes:

Java Software Developers Kit - development-made-easy in building blocks to allow a developer to quickly and easily produce an application that fits their customer requirements
