Exhibitors display vehicle security, home security and accessories products at Secutech 2013
Secutech 2013 will highlight the latest technology products for electronic, info security and fire and safety industries

Secutech 2013, which will be held from 24 – 26 April 2013 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Taiwan, is attracting 510 exhibitors from 19 countries and regions.

The show is an annual international event for the electronic security, info security and fire and safety industries organised by Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd. It covers everything from components, finished products to integration and solutions.

Mr Parson Lee, the company’s Managing Director said: “Now in its 16th edition, Secutech has become the region’s must attend industry event and this year’s show is expected to attract more than 26,000 professional visitors from different parts of the world.”

Visitors will be able to view the latest technologies from exhibitors that include Bosch, C-PRO, Dahua, Everfocus, HDPRO, Hikvision, Honeywell, Mobotix and Vivotek.

New to this year’s show is the 50-exhibitor pavilion from Shenzhen, a major Chinese manufacturing base for security products. Another highlight will be the Access Control pavilion, one of the biggest pavilions of its kind in Asia. Here, exhibitors will display products such as access control for parking and gates, as well as smart home equipment. For efficient sourcing, there will also be dedicated areas for vehicle security, home security and accessories. 

Diverse fringe programmes offer market and product information

In addition to providing sourcing opportunities, Secutech offers a series of fringe programmes:

Global Digital Surveillance Forum (GDSF) + Security 50 Annual Summit

This year’s show will combine the GDSF with the Security 50 Annual Summit and many of the speakers will be representatives from the Security 50 list which reveals the top 50 industry companies with the largest annual revenue. Topics include the challenges of CCTV upgrades and how to consolidate video management systems.

Secutech Excellence Award 2013

The Secutech Award Gallery will display various IP cameras and NRVs and during the first two days of the show, visitors can vote for the best product. Brands on display include Aver, Hunt, Kedacom, Qnap and Shany.

HD SDI Demonstration

The performance of more than 20 HD SDI cameras, DVRs and accessories can be judged during various demonstrations relating to real life situations.

Composec Conference

This conference consists of 13 seminars covering IP Megapixel Surveillance, HD Surveillance Storage, Compression and HD Video processing, as well as SDI and other options for HD Video Transmission. The key speakers represent brands such as Microsoft, Seagate, Sony and Toshiba.
