Accurate workspace utilisation data can be collected without requiring additional action by the employee or changing their typical behaviour
The cloud-based integrated solution allows for a seamless, passive process

Brivo Systems LLC, a leader in cloud applications for security management, and Asure Software, Inc., a leading workplace management software provider, announced a partnership that integrates Brivo’s ACS WebService software with the AsureSpaceTM Resource Scheduler solution.

Brivo and Asure were each offering their unique cloud-based services to a major software company when the customer inquired if the two companies could integrate for even greater efficiencies and cost savings. The resulting integrated solution allows for a seamless, passive process in which users check into existing workspace reservations made in Resource Scheduler, formerly of PeopleCube, simply by swiping their Brivo security card to access the corresponding building. As a result, accurate workspace utilisation data can be collected without requiring additional action by the employee or changing their typical behaviour.

This workspace utilisation data can be leveraged by senior management to compare actual versus planned space utilisation, identify employee workspace preferences, discover patterns among various departments, uncover variables in seasonal use, and other trending information that can lead to workspace modifications and enhancements.

“The integration between Brivo’s ACS WebService and Resource Scheduler addresses the market’s demand”

“The integration between Brivo’s ACS WebService and Resource Scheduler addresses the market’s demand for comprehensive, cloud-based shared workspace management solutions,” explained John T. Anderson, Executive Vice President at Asure Software. “In addition to enhancing the efficiency of each employee by simultaneously providing secure building access and simple workspace reservation check-in, the resulting workspace utilisation data enables organisations to optimise the efficient utilisation of space, adjust to changing operations, and ultimately reduce real estate, energy, and other operational costs.”

John Szczygiel, Executive Vice President at Brivo added, “From Brivo’s founding, we knew our cloud-based access control system offered our end users an exceptional array of features and benefits, but we also knew we couldn’t do it all. Brivo software is designed for easy integration with such market leaders as Asure Software, so that together we can offer our customers a software package that is far more powerful than the two standalone solutions. With this cloud-to-cloud solution, Asure and Brivo are providing end users, for the first time, more efficient and actionable data that allows them to make better decisions.”
