Visitors who attended Security Essen 2008 were able to view the H.264 version of Arecont Vision's SurroundVideo® technology, which utilises four 2-megapixel sensors in 180° (AV8185) and 360° (AV8365) for high-definition panoramic views.

With the introduction of the H.264 panoramic cameras Arecont Vision has completed its megapixel camera range, with 1.3 megapixels up to 5-megapixel single sensor cameras, the unique 2xsensor D/N camera with extreme light sensitivity and the panoramic with 8 megapixels.
