Videotec's new camera housings protect cameras at extreme temperatures

Total security even in extreme environmental conditions with the new camera housings by Videotec, the Italian leading company in the field of CCTV.

From the most rigid cold to the sultriest heat, Videotec's housings guarantees absolute quality and protection, thanks to the careful choice of materials and special technical solutions that protect and isolate the internal electronic instruments and at the same time allow for optimal operation of each function.

Here are the latest products:

Verso Polar

Global protection against temperatures down to -55°: it's the exceptional performance of Verso Polar, the new camera housing by Videotec. Made in technopolymer for increased resistance to strong mechanical vibrations, it is equipped, like all products of the Verso line, with an internal heating system and cable glands in nickel plated brass suitable for the harshest temperatures. This product has a side opening for easier access to the camera, its lenses and its connections. Verso Polar is easy to install either on a wall mount or with internal cable passage.

Housings for thermal camera

These new products for thermal cameras presented by the Italian company complete the already wide range of solutions designed to ensure these special cameras a favourable operating environment.

Two new housings available:

• HTV Housing: made in aluminium, and equipped with a window with special germanium glass ideal, for its extraordinary characteristics, for the transmission of an extremely clean image from 7.5 to 14 μm IR even on cameras with a 9.2mm/45° lens. The side opening allows easier access to the camera, its lenses and its connections. Both wall and ceiling assemblies are available, on supports with internal cable passage and on pan & tilt.
• NTW Housing: for total protection against the highest temperatures. Heavy-duty and very resistant thanks to its sturdy construction in stainless steel, the NTW series of housings is equipped with a special cooling system that makes it the ideal solution for surveillance in areas that are in direct contact with heat sources, such as ovens or foundries. The housing is available in a version with a zinc-selenium glass compatible with a wave length of 7.5 - 14 μm as well as a version with sapphire glass, ideal for shortwave thermal cameras with a wave length of 0.75 - 4.5 μm.
