IEC have launched the TRIMEC surface mount electric lock ES700 / 7000. The TRIMEC ES700 / 7000 has been specifically designed to address applications which require safe exit (releasing under side load) while maintaining high physical security and unobtrusive appearance.
Historically many applications have either used magnetic locks which release when power is removed, but which offer far less physical security, or higher security locks which jam under side load pressure. Side load operation - operates and releases freely with over 0.5 tonne side load
High physical security - over 1 tonne holding force, impact tested 500j
Sleek appearance - low profile, protruding only 40 mm into door headroom
Other features include door position monitor, deadlock anti-tamper, self latching without power, vertical or horizontal mount, multi voltage.
