ZKAccess, a leading provider of biometric and RFID security solutions, recently returned from another successful appearance at PSA-TEC.

Physical security education

Presented by the PSA Security Network,  TEC is the premier education and networking event that is open to everyone in the physical security industry. TEC hosts representatives from physical security integrators, manufacturers, and other industry associations every year.

TEC 2016 featured three core days (May 10th-12th) of quality education and certification programs, networking, and dedicated exhibit hours designed to advance the skills and expertise of security industry professionals.

Advanced biometric access control

Each year, ZKAccess proudly conducts at PSA their highly attended Advanced Biometric Access Control CEU class which is accredited by the ESA, BICSI, State of NJ and the State of Florida.

The class walks students through the evolution of access control, providing a clear understanding of why each new technology succeeded its predecessor. Topics covered include why PIN code locks succeeded metal key ‘n lock systems, why barcode and mag stripe readers succeeded PIN code readers, what prompted the introduction of today’s common RFID systems, and, now, why biometric security is becoming more relevant and within customers’ budgets  and technical expertise.

Essential information and networking

The ZKAccess course was one of 50 courses offered by PSA and ZKAccess was one of over 100 leading security vendors who participated at TEC.

"We are both pleased and honored to be invited by PSA to participate in TEC each year," says Larry Reed, CEO, ZKAccess. "Participating at TEC not only allows us to introduce essential access control information to attending students, but also provides us an opportunity to network with some of the brightest talented leaders in the security industry from whom we learn where to focus our R&D to best serve our customers."
