At booth #2325, GSX 2023, Dallas, TX, 11-13 September, Vismo will showcase new features of its award-winning real-time employee location tracking and monitoring technology, enabling organisations to better locate, track and proactively protect staff works away from offices or in rural areas, or those travelling globally.
What’s new?
- Updated Vismo Locate & Protect App. The new version of the Vismo Locate & Protect App transforms the interface to provide users with a more intuitive experience. This encourages app users to be more interactive and consider risks relevant to them and their location.
- The Vismo Monitor App. Allows organisations’ security teams or designated administrators to easily monitor and respond to alerts - about potentially threatening, or actual, events - reported by their employees via the Vismo Locate & Protect App, wherever they are in the world.
- A new integrated risk feed. Vismo has expanded the number of risk intelligence feeds that integrate with its platform. New is the Max Security feed, which joins those of Dataminr, Riskline, and Factal. The expanded number of feeds means that organisations now benefit from a more proactive stance on pushing risk information to their internationally travelling staff and via mass notifications.
- Accurate 911 responses. For clients with mobile workforces in the USA, Vismo is the only provider of employee safety solutions to have partnered and integrated Rapid SOS technology. Vismo is “RapidSOS Ready,” which means the fastest and most accurate 911 response to employees, irrespective of where they are working in the USA.
- eSIMs. eSIMs offer new ways of improving connectivity and business continuity. They give organisations an easy-to-deploy eSIM that gives full roaming cellular coverage for individuals and teams when travelling locally or globally. The additional coverage an eSIM provides immediately improves the user’s ability to raise an alert if a crisis occurs, as well as receive and respond to mass notifications. It can be deployed as a further layer of support in a business continuity plan.
- Satellite devices. Vismo will also have a range of handheld satellite devices on display. All the devices fully integrate into the Vismo platform and are often used by organisations’ employees in remote areas, where there is poor or no cellular network signal, or as part of business continuity in high-risk areas, for example, war or crisis zones.

Vismo CEO, Craig Swallow, said “With features like panic alerts, geo-fencing, incident management and access to risk intelligence streams, Vismo has a very comprehensive answer to enhancing security and emergency response for all employers."
He adds, “At GSX 2023 we will demonstrate how we work with the world’s largest providers of risk intelligence, enabling visitors to understand the location and risk status of their employees in real time, anywhere in the world. And we’ll show how, in response, they can instantly send critical information to employees through the Vismo Mass Notification feature when an incident occurs or is expected to occur.”
Vismo App users
Colin Dale, Global Sales Director, Vismo, says, “The aim of sharing risk intelligence is to improve overall worker safety and be proactive with relevant knowledge, so that lone or travelling employees, including teams are better prepared. Being proactive like this can help build a sense of support and safely amongst Vismo App users, helping them to work more safety and therefore more productively."
He adds, “At the same time, their employer is safe in the knowledge they can see the whereabouts of their resources at any time from the Vismo Secure Portal or the new Vismo Monitor App.”
