Infosecurity Europe 4-6 June 2024, the most influential information security event running at ExCeL London, announced that renowned technology ethics broadcaster and researcher, Stephanie Hare will give the keynote address for the eighth annual Women in Cybersecurity event. The event will be held on day two of Infosecurity Europe on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.
Hare, author of Technology is Not Neutral: A Short Guide to Technology Ethics, brings a wealth of experience to the stage, with a diverse career spanning foreign policy research, tech company strategy, consultancy research, and journalism. Her unique perspective will see her delve into the implications of living through a technological revolution, touching on historical, political, and contemporary aspects of AI, data privacy, policy-making, cybersecurity, and more.

The Women in Cybersecurity event, now in its eighth year, has grown to become an unmissable event within the conference programme and a talking point for many. As the show continues to elevate and empower women in cyber and demand has increased, this year’s event has been scaled to accommodate the growing audience and list of inspiring voices waiting to take to the stage.
The pioneering women will now present on the keynote stage in the main exhibition floor to share their stories, covering topics including the gender pay gap, imposter syndrome and mentorship, through to negotiation skills.

Hosted by Infosecurity Magazine Editor, Beth Maundrill, the Women in Cybersecurity event will take place from 15:00-17:30 in the keynote theatre and include the engaging keynote presentation by Stephanie Hare, a panel discussion showcasing some of the industry’s most inspiring and influential women and feature ample networking opportunities.
