Sharry, a workplace experience platform, and Otis, the elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation and service company, are excited to announce a global partnership with its pilot program bringing elevator access integration to a modern AAA class administrative building SmichOFF located in Prague, Czech Republic.
As a result of this collaboration, users will be able to call an elevator and select the floor they want to go to from a Sharry white-labeled mobile application.
Touch-free elevator control
The touch-free elevator control will enable tenants to call their elevator with their personal devices including their smartphones or watches. Building visitors will enter the building using a pre-generated QR code that will open the turnstile and call the elevator to the desired floor. One of the benefits of the touch-free system is that it minimises the transmission of infection from surfaces touched by other people, which allows for a safe return to the office in the post-COVID world.

“We are very excited about this partnership with Otis as our number one objective is to enhance tenant experience in office buildings,” says Josef Šachta, CEO and Co-Founder of Sharry. “This strategic cooperation will enable new interaction, convenience, and quality of service for all building tenants.”

Customers innovative solutions
“We are pleased to be partnering with Sharry to offer our customers innovative solutions for elevators connected with their buildings and systems,” says František Čech, Managing Director for the Czech and Slovak Republics, summing up the solution benefits.
“We are pleased that Otis has installed this hi-tech technology in our building SmíchOFF. The system communicates with tenants and visitors via an app and will make their traffic and whole experience smoother. Also, in the post-covid era we benefit from using touchless technology. Not only thanks to similar devices, the building has gained high prestige on the market and is almost entirely leased out,” says Miloslav Kocek, Asset manager of Portiva Group.
