Global pioneer SATO Europe has announced it will present a select next-generation generation of auto-ID and labelling solutions at the International Suppliers Fair (IZB).

International Suppliers Fair (IZB)

Hosted in Wolfsburg, Germany, IZB is Europe’s trade fair for the automotive industry with over 800 exhibitors expected to showcase their innovations between 11th – 13th October 2022.

The event will spotlight new technologies and business models that are revolutionising the world of mobility with transformative digital solutions. Among these will be several SATO technology solutions that aim to reduce the complexities of the automotive industry by driving visibility, transparency, and efficiency across the supply chain. These include the CL4NX and CL6NX Plus thermal printer series, alongside RFID and IGP solutions.

Flexibility

Solutions that enable automotive suppliers to adapt quickly and offer flexibility are a major advantage"

While the traditional lean inventory management model has been efficient in the past for the automotive industry, the world has changed and so too have the risks of using such a model,” comments Thomas Nitschke, DACH Sales Manager at SATO.

The industry needs to become more agile to be at its most efficient, this includes implementing larger inventory banks or warehousing to mitigate potential stock shortage risks. Solutions that enable automotive suppliers to adapt quickly and offer flexibility are a major advantage in the current climate."

CL4NX and CL6NX Plus series

This year, SATO will present its CL4NX and CL6NX Plus series, which deliver enhanced print accuracy, smart head functionality, and RFID capabilities to significantly boost operational efficiency."

"In addition, they also support different emulations, including ZPL and IGP with the protocols FIS, PJL, and TN3270, as well as UHF, HF, and NFC ranges for best-in-class flexibility.”

CT range and PDF direct printing

Both the CL and CT printer ranges can be configured with Application Enabled Printing (AEP) for standalone operation"

Alongside the CL Plus series of printers, SATO will also showcase its next-generation CT range and demonstrate PDF direct printing, alongside the ability to write RFID inlays.

Nitschke continued, “Both the CL and CT printer ranges can be configured with Application Enabled Printing (AEP) for standalone operation. This makes printing highly customisable to any business environment."

Keynote and panel sessions

We are thrilled to be able to demonstrate so many of our innovative products at IZB this year. If you are looking for a particular solution, our team will be more than happy to discuss specific requirements at our booth.”

IZB has been welcoming automotive suppliers to its in-house Volkswagen trade fair since 2001.
