“Redvision’s X-SERIES cameras are regarded by many CCTV integrators as the security industry’s benchmark, rugged dome camera,” explained Paul Hucker, Director of Redvision. “The RVX20 uses Sony, Megapixel, CMOS sensor technology, with improved low-light colour rendition and wide dynamic range. It will dynamically toggle between colour, black and white and day / night modes, to provide optimal images in the most demanding lighting conditions. It also works in conjunction with the modular IR or white-light illumination options.”

Easily convertible

The RVX20 series, designed and manufactured in the UK, can be configured as a dome or PTZ, by simply adding or removing its cover. An optically-correct, flat window minimises distortion better than a “bubble” type optic and maximises low-light performance. The RVX20 has a silicone, long-life wiper to remove rain and surface water, ensuring clear camera visibility in outdoor and challenging environments.

"The RVX20 series has 100 programmable pre-sets, 8 tours, 24 programmable privacy zones and multiple alarm options"

150-metre night time view

IR and white light illuminator options provide night time viewing of up to 150 metres, with facial recognition beyond 40 metres. Narrow spot and wide flood settings are available, with alarm, preset or manual override activation.

The RVX20 series has 100 programmable pre-sets, 8 tours, 24 programmable privacy zones and multiple alarm options. The pre-set and tour technology enables the camera to reach a pre-set position in the correct focus and with ideal light mode settings, during a tour or following an alarm.

360º continuous rotation

The RVX20 can view 10° above horizontal when pendant mounted, without video clipping. It has 360º continuous rotation and an operating temperature range of -25º to +60ºC. Mount options include pedestal, swan, wall and pendant to suit all applications. The camera is available in light grey or black as standard, with the option to order in any RAL colour or marine finish.

The X-SERIES is successfully used in many applications including public space, local authority, hazardous, marine, defence, high security, town centre and rapid deployment systems.
