In collaboration with IPConfigure, Inc., Razberi Technologies has announced a simple, turn-key video surveillance solution based on the razberi™ ServerSwitch™ appliance series and certified Orchid™ video management software (VMS) for IP video surveillance cameras.

Cost-effective solution

“The combination of the intelligent Razberi appliances with IPConfigure software delivers a highly reliable and secure surveillance solution with very low maintenance. Orchid’s ability to support the Linux operating system with Razberi hardware is a nice option for organisations that desire a true appliance without the headache and ongoing cost of managing a Windows system,” said Tom Galvin, CEO, Razberi Technologies. “This is an excellent solution for installations that do not have ready access to IT support.”

IPConfigure Orchid™ is designed for systems with up to 32 cameras, and supports thousands of different camera models. Recognised for its reliability and ease of use, Orchid™ provides local and remote access to live and recorded video, with same user experience on both workstations and mobile devices. At $69 per camera license MSRP, Orchid™ is a cost-effective solution for small to mid-sized businesses.

Compatible with Windows and Linux technologies

Purpose-built as an intelligent surveillance appliance and pre-installed with LocBeri Cyber Security System, the razberi™ ServerSwitch™ protects camera ports, reduces installation time, and saves rack space while reducing energy costs, network traffic and risk. Complementing the simplicity of installation, Orchid’s bulk registration and auto-recovery features allow an end user to install a VMS from scratch and enrol and configure up to 32 cameras in as little as two minutes.

“Promoting edge capabilities has long been a strategic focus for IP Configure products, making Razberi a natural partner. Combined, we’re able to offer a simple, turn-key surveillance solution for customers using either Windows or Linux technologies,” said Christopher Uiterwyk, CEO, IPConfigure.
