OPTEX, the global sensor manufacturer, has appointed Lawrence Peters as Head of Sales in the UK and Ireland to further strengthen and expand OPTEX’s capabilities across the region.
Lawrence Peters' responsibilities
Lawrence Peters will be responsible for pioneering and implementing OPTEX’s domestic sales and growth strategy, with a particular focus on new customer acquisition across key vertical markets, including the retail, logistics, data centre, critical infrastructure, and residential sectors.
He will also be tasked with maintaining and enhancing long-term relationships with installers, system integrators, and distributor partners, as well as ensuring OPTEX continues to deliver the highest level of technical service and customer support where needed.

Broad security industry experience
Lawrence Peters has worked in the security industry for almost 20 years, including more than 10 years in leadership roles. He was formerly Sales Director – UK and Ireland for a pioneering provider of temporary site security and has a proven track record in developing and delivering long-term projects.
