In what has been the most challenging period in the company’s event planning history, it is with great sadness, that Nineteen Group confirms the postponement of their September events; The Security Event, The Fire Safety Event, The Health and Safety Event, The Facilities Event and The Emergency Services Show. All shows due to take place this September, have been postponed to 27-28 April 2021 at the NEC.
The company thanks everyone for bearing with them during this incredibly difficult time. Feedback for this September has been understandably mixed, ranging from ‘supportive’ to ‘not sure’ and ‘prefer to postpone’. Also, their venue, NEC, require authorisation from Government to open for shows, which at the time of this announcement, they unfortunately still do not have.

Given the continued uncertainty, they are left with no option other than to postpone
Without this authorisation and guidance, the company cannot commit to September as they are prevented from having sufficient time to ratify exactly what, and how, they can work with the venue and partners to finalise what a COVID-secure event looks like. Ultimately, safety must come above all else. Given this continued uncertainty, they are left with no option other than to postpone allowing them to safely deliver their event.
They are confident that this postponement is in the best interests of all and will give them the best opportunity to deliver top-quality content and the best ROI for all participants. The Nineteen Group love their shows, their sectors, and the team at Nineteen remain committed to going the extra mile for their communities.
Focused on the protection
With The Health & Safety Event, The Security Event, The Fire Safety Event, The Facilities Event and Nineteen Group’s other event - The Emergency Services Show all co-located in adjacent halls at the NEC in April, creates the UK’s largest event focused on the protection of people, places and assets.
Visitor registrations will be transferred to the new dates, they do not need to do anything. If the visitors have already downloaded and saved their ebadge, they can disregard these as the company will re-issue all ebadges nearer the show.
