Eamonn Doyle, who has a long and distinguished career in the technology sector, has joined fast growing, enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions company My1Login as full-time Sales Director.
Doyle built up Bloxx over ten years as CEO and President of Bloxx Inc., from start-up, to leader in dynamic web content filtering technology in the UK and USA. Bloxx grew year on year into a substantial business and in 2015, the business was sold to Akamai of Cambridge, Massachusetts, for an 8-figure sum. Over his career, he has been instrumental in achieving no less than 10 Deloitte Fast 50 Awards which recognises the fastest growing UK technology businesses. In 2009, he was a finalist in Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year competition. Latterly he was VP of sales and marketing at Avvio, a global supplier of next generation hotel booking engine technology.
Single Sign-On solution
"My1Login has a brilliant Single Sign-On solution that tackles challenges such as thick-client, legacy applications as well as web and mobile apps," explains Doyle. "With CEOs now acutely aware of the need to protect their organisation's data and reputation, particularly given the implications of the new General Data Protection Legislation (GDPR), Single Sign-On has ‘come of age'. My1Login has already secured a number of large enterprise customers and are in the perfect position to leverage the huge potential in the marketplace. I believe My1Login is one of the few companies offering a solution that really works to eliminate the security risks associated with passwords."
Mike Newman, CEO of My1Login, added: "Eamonn is a real go-getter with a proven track record of driving year on year revenues with every organisation he has been involved with. My1Login is on a high growth path and I am delighted that Eamonn has joined our team as his experience and passion for developing sales team success will undoubtedly accelerate the company's expansion."
Eliminating need for passwords
My1Login works with over 1,000 businesses to help them provide secure access to their data. It provides next generation Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions for Enterprise and eliminates the need for passwords in business by providing Single Sign-On that works with all applications, across all devices. The service works with cloud, mobile and legacy desktop applications, which enables them to fully address Single Sign-On challenges even in the most complex of enterprise environments where apps are often a mix of cloud, mobile and legacy systems such as mainframes.
The HM Government Information Security Breaches Survey found that the average cost of a data breach to a large UK organisation was £2.3m. It also found that 90% of large UK businesses suffered a data breach last year with Verizon finding that 65% of the causes of data breach were as a result of weak employee password practices. My1Login eliminates this risk by providing a secure single point of access for all business systems with its Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
