Gaining LPS 1175 benefits customers because it provides independent test evidence that Meesons’ C190-S1 to S3 portals meet the highest security standards, whilst providing specifiers with an entrance control solution with architectural appeal. The C190 enables 24/7 secure controlled access with a spacious 1200mm wide cabin entrance, suitable for wheelchair access, along with options to configure the portal to enable different transit modes day or night.

LPS 1175 is an important security standard for forced entry resistance. It sets out requirements and testing procedures for the LPCB approval and listing of intruder resistant building components, strongpoints, security enclosures and free-standing barriers.

Elegant and robust entrance control solution

Achieving LPS 1175 strengthens Meesons position as a leading supplier and installer of a wide range of innovative anti-tailgating entrance control solutions. The C190-S1 to S3 Security Portals now feature in the RedBook list of LPCB approved fire and security products, a key reference for specifiers, regulators, designers and facility managers looking for high performance security products and services.

We are delighted to be the first company to achieve LPS 1175 for our C190-S1 to S3 Portals,” said Jeremy Terry, Managing Director at Meesons A.I.
