Matrox Graphics Inc. is pleased to announce that Matrox Extio 3 Series IP KVM extenders are now available. Extio 3 IP KVM extenders are the world’s first to deliver unrivalled 4Kp60 4:4:4 video performance—alongside extended keyboard, mouse, USB 2.0, and audio—at unprecedented low bitrates on a standard one Gigabit Ethernet network.

At InfoComm 2018, Extio 3 N3408 4K/quad-monitor and Extio 3 N3208 dual-monitor IP KVM extenders will showcase their class-leading extension and switching capabilities in booth N1322, by the North Hall front entrance.

Matrox Extio 3 Series cards and appliances are capable of providing 4Kp60 4:4:4 or quad 1080p60 4:4:4 desktop-quality video at 5% of the bandwidth required by most other products

Best-in-class resolution support

Redefining IP KVM extension technology, Matrox Extio 3 Series cards and appliances are capable of providing 4Kp60 4:4:4 or quad 1080p60 4:4:4 desktop-quality video at 5% of the bandwidth required by most other products available in the market today. With exceptional remote performance, smooth video playback, and pristine image quality, Extio 3 Series features the best-in-class resolution support required of professional applications—a DisplayPort 1.2 connector on Extio 3 N3408 IP KVM extenders ensure a maximum resolution of 3840x2160 at 60Hz in true colour.

Extio 3 Series also provides flexible configuration options, supporting copper or fibre-optic cabling in point-to-point or networked KVM operations. Extio 3 readily work with standard commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) network switches that significantly diminishes the total cost of ownership to deliver a scalable, secure, and cost-effective KVM matrix switching solution.

An on-screen display on Extio 3 receiver appliances allow operators to conveniently preview all authorised computer desktops to instantly access and switch between multiple systems

Smart IP KVM control

Matrox Extio 3 Series includes Matrox Extio Central Manager, an intuitive, easy-to-use software to remotely configure, manage, and monitor all network-connected Extio 3 units from one central location. Additionally, an on-screen display (OSD) on Extio 3 receiver appliances allow operators to conveniently preview all authorised computer desktops—readily identifiable via thumbnail previews—to instantly access and switch between multiple systems.

For lower-level customisation, integrators and developers can leverage Extio Central Manager APIs to build personalised Extio Central Manager applications and/or integrate Extio 3 functionality into existing control applications. The Matrox Extio 3 N3408 4K/quad-monitor and Extio 3 N3208 dual-monitor IP KVM extenders will be available as of June 30th, 2018.
