LTV launches a new Layer 2 Managed Gigabit Switch with 1 gigabit uplink speed. The powerful and cost-effective LTV S7224E-POE provides 24 x 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet ports for maximum data throughput – ideal for high-speed network connections with high flow of video data.

The LTV-S7224E-POE supports all relevant standards such as 802.3/u/x/z/ad/ae/ab, offers 56 Gbps switching capacity and 42 Mpps packet forwarding rate. The 24 port PoE switch features a variety of Layer 2 management features, making it efficient, secure, and sustainably. The VLAN functions, e.g. 4K VLAN, IEEE 802.1Q VLAN tagging and port-based VLAN, provide optimal scalability, maximum security, and comfortable network management. The ports are protected against overvoltage and maintain voltage peaks of up to 6KV. For configuration, the switch features an intuitive, web-based graphical user interface.

Data and power saver

The LTV-S7224E-POE 24-Port Managed Switch provides Gigabit Ethernet and power supply for up to 24 PoE capable surveillance cameras. This leads to a significant cost reduction, since power and data is transmitted via existing Cat5/5e/6 network cables.

The new 24 Port Full Gigabit PoE Managed Ethernet Switch provides comprehensive scalability, maximum performance, and high reliability at an excellent price/performance ratio. The LTV-S7224E-POE will be available starting from November 2016 and complements the portfolio of LTV switches. Like all LTV switches (available with 4, 8 and 16 ports), it can be ordered via the B2B online shop.
