LTV Europe Sicherheitstechnik GmbH, medium-sized manufacturer of video surveillance products and solutions for the private and commercial use, is expanding its successful Economy series by adding four new outdoor IP cameras with 3 megapixel resolution. The devices will be released in April 2016 and are available as Bullet and Dome versions for a wide range of outdoor application fields:

  • IR Dome Camera fixed lens (f=3.6 mm) or vario focus (f=2.8-12 mm)

The weatherproof outdoor housing is IP66-certified and allows the usage at subfreezing temperatures. The range of functions also includes an IR cut filter for automatic day/night switching, IR illumination and H.264 video compression.

"Our Economy Line cameras are characterised by an advantageous price performance ratio, thus the perfect solution for a wide range of applications in private homes, offices or commercial enterprises and are very popular among our customers. They have an even better resolution than our 2 Mpix models”, says Jens Ringlstetter, Sales Director of LTV. “Especially critical areas can now be recorded with a higher resolution quality, for less important areas, the slightly lower 2 Mpix Full HD resolution is sufficient. This allows a more efficiently use of network bandwidth and storage space.”

Technical features of new outdoor IP cameras

  • 3 Megapixel (2048x1536), 2 Megapixel Full HD (1920x1080) and 720p(1280x720)
  • 25 fps at all resolutions
  • 1/3“ CMOS sensor
  • H.264 compression
  • ICR IR filter
  • power supply via PoE
  • IP66 housing

For recording, compatible 3 Mpix network video recorders are also on offer (available from April 2016). Thanks to Plug&Display, the four new recorders of LTV Economy Line can be connected directly to existing IP cameras - for an easy installation without time-consuming configuration! The range of functions includes 3 megapixel (2048x1536) or Full HD 1080p live display and recording (25 fps/channel), H.264 encoding, 4-channel playback in full resolution as well as Pentaplex function. Starting from the second quarter of 2016, the new 3 Mpix camera and recorder models can be ordered at the B2B online shop. As with all LTV products, they come with three years warranty and six months advanced replacement.
