Achieving ISO 22301 has significant benefits and gives Kings Security greater confidence across the entire business

Kings Security is delighted to announce that it has achieved ISO 22301 accreditation in Business Continuity Management.

The Yorkshire based security firm worked in partnership with leading independent accreditation specialists, Jomu Ltd, and in conjunction with Harrison Management Solutions, to achieve the prestigious accolade which required the business to undertake a thorough assessment of all aspects of the business; enabling them to be able to identify and help protect their most critical business functions; reducing the risks to the business and ensuring its long-term success.

ISO 22301 business continuity certification

ISO 22301 is a highly regarded business certification which covers adaptive, proactive and reactive strategies for businesses, in all phases before, during and after a disruptive incident. To conduct the assessment, over 350 action points were completed and over 200 pieces of evidence gathered from the Kings Security team.

Kings Security CEO, Anthony King, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have been awarded with this accreditation. Achieving ISO 22301 demonstrates that we continue to be extremely committed to ensuring the healthy future of the business, reassuring our clients that their assets are in safe hands.

“This accreditation not only allows us to provide the very best service to all our clients, it also sets us apart from the competition and helps to protect our brand.”

Achieving ISO 22301 has a number of significant benefits and gives Kings Security greater confidence across the entire business. For example, everyone across the whole business, at all levels, is better informed, engaged and prepared, allowing for a proactive approach to minimising the impact of an incident. Downtime during incidents will therefore be reduced leading to improved recovery times for clients.

Improved business engagement at all levels

Other benefits include, improved business engagement at all levels, giving all members of staff a clear understanding of what their individual role would be during an incident, allowing everyone across the business to be better informed, engaged and prepared, allowing the very best in protective service.

Andrea Jones, managing director of Jomu, added: “We have worked with Kings for many years and I’m delighted to have been able to help them achieve the ISO 22301 accreditation.

“Kings Security demonstrated to us the very best in Business Continuity Management, ensuring Kings provide the very best service for its clients and support for its staff. This accreditation sets Kings apart from its competitors as it gives clients a sense of comfort that they can be prepared for any incident.”

Kings Security Systems will hold the award for three years, with annual external audits being made to assess and recertify the accreditation.
