ISC East, the Northeast’s pioneering security and public safety event built by RX Global, hosted in collaboration with premier sponsor the Security Industry Association (SIA) and partnership with ASIS NYC, is proud to present an expansive slate of keynote speakers and educational programming at the 2023 conference.

ISC East attendees are invited to participate in all programming, which takes place Nov. 14-16 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.

Keynote series

The 2023 ISC East Keynote Series will take place at The Bridge – the conference’s main stage destination. 

Day 1 Keynote: The Evolving Threat Landscape: Protecting New York and New Jersey’s Critical Transportation Assets

  • Greg Ehrie, chief security officer for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, will present on the evolving threat landscape and how the Port Authority implements a risk-based, multilayer security approach to protect its employees, customers, and critical transportation assets including airports, bridges, tunnels, bus terminals, ports and the iconic 16-acre World Trade Center complex.

Day 2 Women in Security Forum Keynote:  Light Pierces Through: Lessons in Leadership Through Rescue, Recovery, and Reflection

  • Chief Theresa (Terri) Tobin was among the first New York City Police Department officers to respond to the catastrophic events of 9/11, witnessing the absolute devastation caused by the attacks on the Twin Towers and suffering critical injuries.

Chief Tobin will recount her lived experience, reflect on the enduring impact of 9/11, and demonstrate the importance of adaptability, resilience, and determination in the face of overwhelming odds.
