The spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) around the world is putting a tremendous strain on integrators, their customers and their families. In light of this global pandemic spread, Inner Range Ltd. has stated via a public notice that they are here to support customers and their businesses to run as efficiently as possible.

The company stated that their product supply line, sales, support and training services are all currently fully operational. COVID-19 has put a strain on international supply chains, however, as Inner Range performs all final manufacturing and testing of its products in Australia, the company is ideally positioned to continue operations during this global pandemic.

Business Continuity Plan

Inner Range also enacted a comprehensive Business Continuity Plan (BCP), which was created in 2017 to counter events such as the current global COVID-19 pandemic. The company’s Business Continuity Plan involves ensuring multiple, geographically separated sources of components and sub-assemblies are fully operational, including the ability to source assemblies from Australian-based facilities.

There is also encouraging news from Inner Range’s electronic component suppliers that output in China is ramping up close to normality. The company believes that they have been through the worst of the supply chain challenges in China.

Risk mitigation strategies

The COVID-19 situation is changing daily, and Inner Range is continuously monitoring and adjusting their risk mitigation strategies as the situation continuously evolves globally.

The company statement further said that there are very few certainties in this current environment. However, Inner Range can assure its customers that they have deployed best-in-class risk mitigation strategies to ensure that the customers have continued access to the company’s wide range of products and support services.
