HID Global, global provider of trusted identity solutions, was awarded the IoT Star Award for Best International RFID Brand in China at an awards ceremony held at the China International Internet of Things Exhibition (IOTE) in Suzhou. Based on its influence in the industry, the award is often referred to as the IoT industry’s Oscar in China.

In addition, the accolade further underscores HID’s commitment to innovative contactless identification and sensing technologies (including RFID and Bluetooth Low Energy) and IoT-based solutions.

HID will also showcase its solutions for monitoring, authenticating, and issuing trusted identities during the exhibition:

  • Monitoring Trusted Identities via HID Location Services for item management and asset monitoring, plus HID Condition Monitoring for visibility into equipment performance. HID Trusted Tag Services in guard tour and maintenance & inspection “proof of presence” use cases, as well as brand authenticity/anti-counterfeiting applications will also be featured.
  • Authenticating Trusting Identities with HID’s biometrics offering and solutions for specific applications (such as time and attendance, secure printing and identification) that leverage trusted IDs beyond the door to create more connected environments.
  • Issuing Trusted Identities using HID’s smart cards for versatile and secure IT and physical access control, and its credential management system (CMS) for managing access to networks, PCs, public/private cloud applications, facilities, and other resources.
