SPC-7000 provides a highly versatile solution for organisations migrating from analogue to IP-based surveillance systems

Hanwha Techwin America, formerly Samsung Techwin America, is introducing its new SPC-7000 IP/analogue hybrid keyboard controller at ISC West (booth #14079). With the ability to control of both IP and analogue PTZ cameras, recorders and network software like SSM virtual Matrix or Smart viewer, the SPC-7000 provides a highly versatile solution for organisations migrating from analogue to IP-based surveillance systems.

New IP/analogue hybrid keyboard controller

“Our new IP/analogue hybrid keyboard controller is an ideal solution for the many end users who are gradually migrating their surveillance systems from analogue to IP in phases to minimise costs and disruptions,” said Tom Cook, Vice President of Sales, Hanwha Techwin America. “With the SPC-7000, organisations can ease the migration process and deliver strong return on investment with superior system compatibility that enables control of hybrid environments today and IP systems in the future.”

Includes both keyboard and joystick controls

The SPC-7000 incorporates both keyboard and joystick controls and is used in conjunction with Hanwha Techwin’s SmartViewer surveillance software and SSM video management platform. These solutions increase the flexibility of the controller by ensuring the SPC-7000 is compatible with both DVRs and NVRs in addition to controlling IP and analogue PTZ cameras.

Additional features of the new SPC-7000 IP/analogue hybrid keyboard include: 3D joystick to control PTZ function, multi-protocol support, and an LCD display.
