Door-Stop, the composite door supplier, has added a new wider threshold option to its range, available on all of its standard and FD30 doors. The new Exitex threshold MDS25 is 115mm wide and Part M compliant.

In addition to providing customers with a wider threshold, the Exitex MDS25 allows for a smoother transition of wheelchairs and has EPDM rubber seals for a robust solution that is guaranteed to last. It also offers outstanding weather performance thanks to its compression rebate seal, which has been tested to 150Pa air and water, and the improved thermal break offers superior thermal efficiency.

Offering functional flexibility

Patrick Dean, Head of Sales and Marketing at Door-stop, said: "The addition of the Exitex threshold is the next step in the evolution of our product range. We're always listening to the requirements of our customers and the release of a new, wider threshold is direct response to their feedback.”

“As always, along with the functional flexibility that the threshold provides, comes the Door-stop commitment to a quality finish. The new threshold will be available in all of our custom colours – chartwell green, grey, duck-egg blue, cream, poppy-red and black-brown – as well as our ever-popular standard range – helping to provide the consumer with all of the options that they have come to expect from a Door-stop door."

Benefits of a genuine Door-stop door

Door-Stop prides itself on providing genuine Door-Stop doors, which are branded with its mark of quality. There are many benefits to owning a genuine Door-Stop door: they are weather-proof, police approved, energy efficient and boast a secure guarantee, which promises the homeowner a replacement door plus £500 compensation in the event of a break in, where the locking mechanism has failed, though this offer is available on ERA locks only.
