Fermax will promote new art actions in Belgium, France and Mexico, as well as UK

Starting on 18th March, the Waltham Forest district of London will host “Paint Your London”, a street art event that aims to transform this neighbourhood into an outdoor museum. Up to 20 murals will pop up across the borough, signed by the best international artists. The event will be closed with an installation by the acclaimed Irish artist known as Maser. The Valencian brand sponsors this event following its vocation for the Street Art.

Four years ago Fermax supported the promotion of Street Art inviting young artists to convert its headquarters into a big mural of 1.600 square metres. Since that time, the Fermax corporate building is an international reference point for Street Art fans. The company has integrated into their strategy the support to an artistic, innovative and urban form that is perfectly aligned with the values of the Brand.

Paint Your London event

Following this way, Fermax supports Paint Your London, an event focused in Street Art which wants to transform the Waltham Forest neighbourhood of London into an outdoor museum. 20 different murals will be painted during the weekend of 18 and 19 March. This artistic proposal will culminate in an exciting project with Irish street artist Maser who will be unveiling a huge full building installation. Maser started his career in the Street Art around Dublin’s streets. Now he is well-known internationally because of big volume and urban installations and murals. In these he shows coloured geometries in big format which are both funny and disturbing at the same time. His street art invites the observers to reflect on its relation with the space.

Paint Your London, an event that is part of the Mayor of London’s 11 day festival called “Find Your London”, was an idea of the group Wood Street Walls. This artists’ collective, who is also in charge of coordinating the works, is closely involved in the human and artistic development of the district. Wood Street Walls declares that these activities “make this area shine and create conversation points. People discuss and enjoy it and they feel proud of living in the area”. From the beginning, two years ago, the collective has promoted the creation of 15 murals which will be signed by some of the most important artists as Marck McClure, ATMA, Andrew Mc Attee and STATIC, or even international stars as Conor Harrington and Phlegm.

Fermax is convinced about the transformation’s power of the Street Art. In this 2016, Fermax will promote new Street Art actions in countries where the company is strongly established such as Belgium, France and Mexico, as well as the United Kingdom.
