On 1st March, 2017, Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) revisited Dahua Technology to further promote the future cooperation between companies in Leeds City Region and Dahua Technology. In June 2016, during LEP’s first visit to Dahua, David Shepherd, Head of Trade & Inward Investment, LEP, was so impressed by Dahua’s core value of innovation, quality, and service, that when he revisited Dahua this time, he brought Roger Marsh, Chairman of LEP. Michael Chen, VP and General Manager of Dahua Overseas Business, hosted the reception.

Advanced applications

LEP is the commercial department of the government, responsible for business activities not only in Leeds, but also in bigger Leeds City Region. The delegation’s revisit to Dahua this time is to seek a better understanding of Dahua Technology and its products and solutions, especially the projects of Dahua Technology in UK.

Michael Chen warmly welcomed the delegation led by Roger Marsh. He presented Dahua’s latest products and solutions, and accompanied them to visit Dahua Exhibition Hall. Michael Chen said that Dahua had gathered rich experience not only in video surveillance industry, but also in advanced applications like intelligent robot and machine vision, pushing forward the era of video+.

Promoting open and connected network

During the meeting, the delegation showed strong interest in Dahua solutions such as safe city, an advanced solution Dahua created to enable police, transportation authority and other departments to deal with safety threats using less police force but delivering faster response.

LEP’s revisit to Dahua is well in line with Dahua core value of Openness—its pursuit of an open and connected network to drive the establishment of security industry ecosystem. Dahua will continue the investment in international market to build a stronger overseas organisation with extensive coverage and resources to support customers locally. Innovation, quality, and service are the key to its future.
