This latest entry to Dahua’s extensive low-light portfolio is suitable for a range of indoor and outdoor applications. It’s engineered with two lenses and two 4 MP sensors that collect and process different light data.
With Dual Light Fusion technology, the camera collects visible-light colour detail from one lens-sensor combination and light intensity data (using an IR illuminator), simultaneously from the other lens-sensor. The two images are then fused together using frame-by-frame mapping at the pixel level, to display the best of both worlds, without the use of a white-light illuminator.
The Eyeball Fusion Night Color 4 MP Camera specialises in three key areas:
- More clarity at night and from a distance - The camera captures full-colour images at longer distances, when compared to a standard IR camera. For exteriors, this can mean areas without high ambient light at night and areas where white light illuminators are undesirable. The camera also offers the benefit of less insect attraction.
- Full colour in dark scenarios - For security applications with the potential need to identify the colour of a person’s clothing or vehicle in total darkness, the Night Color technology has everyone covered.
