G4S Technology installs access control and barrier systems at four entrances

G4S Technology, a leading provider of building security systems, has been awarded a contract to provide the latest access control and barrier entry systems to the University of West London.

G4S Technology worked with the University to upgrade their existing access control system to the Symmetry Security Management system two years ago. Since then, the University has continued to grow and the need to build upon the existing solution was recognised, resulting in the expansion.

G4S Technology has installed new access control and barrier systems at a total of four entrances at the University’s Ealing, St Mary’s Road Campus.

Stewart Angell, UK Managing Director, G4S Technology, said: “It is great to see the continuation of work at the University, and to provide them with the integrated building security solutions that support their expanding and changing needs.

“Plans are already in place to address additional requirements – we have received instructions to install further access control and barrier entry systems at the Students Union on the St Mary’s Road Campus, and confirmation of an expansion of the access control door entry systems at the University’s Reading city centre, Fountain House building.”
