TagMaster North America, Inc. announced its support for HID Global's popular Corporate 1000 Programme
TagMaster North America, Inc., the leading provider of long-range and high-performance Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems for Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) announced recently its support for HID Global's popular Corporate 1000 Programme. As the trusted source for solutions for the delivery of secure identity, HID Global established the Corporate 1000 programme to provide access control users with a unique 35-bit card data format developed and maintained specifically for each individual end-user organisation. Customers aiming to standardise on a single card solution within their organisation can now authorise TagMaster to purchase Corporate 1000 cards on their behalf from HID Global. The benefits of this programme to TagMaster customers include enhanced card security, compatibility with standard HID access control readers, and assured availability of the unique card format over the long term.

The flexibility and ease of use of a dual short-range / long-range access card, while still compliant with the Corporate 1000 Programme, is now attainable through TagMaster's S1260 Combi Tag, a unique read-only, compact, semi-passive tag that combines long-range 2.45 GHz technology with HID proximity, eProx and iCLASS®.

Additionally, a newly designed TagMaster MarkTag MeM duo that supports the Corporate 1000 programme, is also available. A dual access tag that operates with improved signal sensitivity and extended read range capabilities, mounts anywhere on the dashboard line-of-sight permitting and comes with a new rugged and ergonomically-friendly design, the MarkTag MeM duo is by far the most compact tag in the TagMaster family of tags.

To participate in the Corporate 1000 Programme, end-users need to complete an HID Global Format Request and Authorisation Form (designating TagMaster NA as their authorised reseller). Upon processing by HID, a unique Corporate 1000 Format number and facility code is established for the end-user, which TagMaster NA programs into the S1260 Combi Tag and MarkTag MeM duo.
