The Valencian brand wishes to honour Bratislav Okal, who was instrumental in introducing the company’s products

At the age of 70 and after more than two decades representing Fermax in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Bratislav Okal is leaving his post. On the occasion of his retirement, the Valencian brand wishes to honour a man who was instrumental in introducing the company’s products throughout Eastern Europe at a historic time for the region.

Fermax first began to count on Bratislav Okal’s collaboration in the early nineties. Now this seasoned professional is departing after 22 years, to enjoy a well-deserved retirement. And it is precisely on the eve of his retirement that Fermax wishes to pay homage to him, remembering how his presence as the image of FERMAX was crucial for the brand. Not only for his technical-commercial profile, but also because he knew how to help Head Office in Valencia understand the particular customs and ways of working in this geographic space. We recall that Eastern Europe in general and what at that time was the Czechoslovak Republic (nowadays the Czech Republic and Slovakia) in particular were then taking their first steps in the market economy.

Nor must we forget to mention the extraordinary work he carried out in such key areas for the company as Russia and Poland, where FERMAX currently has its own commercial agent and subsidiary, respectively, positioning us strategically throughout Eastern Europe.

Now that the market is fully up and running and the challenges are quite different, his commercial tasks will be taken up by Yaga Seelan, who is well versed in both the region and the Fermax product, having been Area Manager for the zone over the past year.

Bratislav Okal leaves a fond memory behind in FERMAX and great pride for the rest of the team, as his dynamic, feisty and businesslike nature has served as an example for the rest of the international team, who are working day by day to bring our brand to the most far-off countries worldwide.
