Registration affirms company's operational excellence.

Fargo Electronics, Inc., a global leader in secure technologies for card identity systems, announced it has achieved successful ISO 9001:2000 registration following an assessment this month.  The scope of the registration includes the design, manufacture and sale of secure ID card printer/encoders, media (ribbons, films, cards and laminates), software and systems.  The registration confirms that Fargo has undergone a rigorous, comprehensive assessment, and its processes and organisation have met an international set of standards for quality and continuous improvement.

"In a competitive market like ours, effective management systems are central to our success," said David Sullivan, Fargo president.

"This registration acknowledges our efforts as a world-class manufacturer.  We recognise the importance of documented processes in producing high-quality, reliable products."

"Our pursuit of continuous improvement represents a tangible value to Fargo customers.  This registration provides them confidence that they're doing business with a company that has the systems and infrastructure in place to produce secure ID solutions that are consistent in quality and on hand when they need them," Sullivan concluded.
