Each security company listed through BetterThanReviews on Alarm.org is a member of ESA

The Electronic Security Association (ESA), the largest trade association representing the electronic security industry, is proud to announce a new partnership with BetterThanReviews, an online service that gives consumers the power to read reviews and compare local security companies. This tool is now available on Alarm.org, ESA’s website for consumers and business owners.

Users can access the BetterThanReviews service via the “get quote” button placed on the right side of the screen or by entering in their postcode in the ‘find a security company’ search box. After answering some simple questions about the type of security service they’re seeking, consumers will gain access to a list of local providers. From this list, consumers will then select which companies they would like to learn more about and request a quote.

Each security company listed through BetterThanReviews on Alarm.org is a member of ESA. ESA members are among the most respected companies in the security industry and must adhere to a strict Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct that prohibit unethical business practices and deceptive customer communications. This governance can help ensure that consumers are treated with respect and receive the high quality work they deserve.

As a whole, ESA members install and service commercial and residential electronic life safety and security systems across the United States. These systems include a vast range of products and services including burglar alarms, fire alarms, home and building automation, video surveillance, electronic locks, and access control systems. Additionally, many ESA members offer interactive services that give individuals control of their home or business from any web-enabled device wherever they may be.

Finding a trustworthy security company can be a challenge, but this new resource provided by ESA can help alleviate consumer headaches by connecting them with the best security companies in their area – ESA members.
