Dortronics Systems, Inc. displayed its diverse range of door control hardware products for attendees at ISC West - showcasing a wide assortment of immediately available, off-the-shelf products and custom-design capabilities to cater to any customer need. The company is spotlighting the programmability of its 4900 Series Intelligent Interlock Controller, the simplicity of its EZ-Access Solution and the versatile functionality of its 3300 Series Electric Strikes.

"Our mission is to completely fulfill any customer's needs related to door control hardware," said Bryan Sanderford, National Sales Manager, Dortronics Systems, Inc. "If you need it, we either have it or we will custom-design it to your specific application. Just come by the booth and tell us what you need."

At ISC West, Dortronics Systems, Inc. featured the following products:

The new 4900 Series Intelligent Interlock Controller makes it easy and cost-effective to configure complex door interlock systems in a mantrap application. The programmable logic controller (PLC)-based system is factory-programmed using Dortronics' EZ-Ladder software, or the ladder logic program can be customized for almost any operational requirements. Featuring scalable hardware, the PLC controller will handle 33 inputs and 33 outputs and can be expanded to accommodate in excess of 128 inputs and 128 outputs. The modular design enables control of any sized door interlock project. The intelligent processor allows inputs and outputs to be easily re-configured to meet the specific needs of the customer and the application.

EZ-Access is a simple off-line system to control one or two doors with one reader each or one door with two readers for in/out control. EZ-Access has a memory capacity of 2,000 active user codes. Secure EZ-Prox cards, key fobs or any of the Dortronics 26-bit Wiegand keypads can be used to gain access. A programming card or master code entered on the keypad can add or delete users from the system easily. History reports are viewed as text files with standard computer programs, and audit trails are easily downloadable with EZ-Logger software.

3300 Series Electric Strikes are built to hold tight with a 2,000-lb. pull test rating and a stainless steel jaw and strike plate. The popular series is compatible with most aluminum frame cutouts, furnished with an ANSI strike plate and suitable for most wood and hollow metal door frames. The 3301 model electric strike is furnished with a 9-inch-tall strike plate for installation on many wood door frames. Both models can accommodate a deep door latch keeper.

Dortronics' full suite of legacy products were also on display at their ISC West booth, expanding the customer's choice and reaffirming Dortronics Systems, Inc.'s standing as the industry's leading supplier of standard and custom finish access control products.

"Customers need flexibility in selecting what they need for their application," said Sanderford. "With our innovative new products, the breadth of our product line and our custom-design capabilities, that's exactly what Dortronics has to offer."
