Dedicated Micros - part of AD Group - has appointed Eddie Dautry-Turner as Systems Application Manager.

He will be able to bring more than 15 years experience in the security sector to this new role.  Previously, Eddie worked at integrators BBV, latterly as Product Manager for the market-leading Pick-a-Point Virtual Matrix solution where he played a pivotal role in its success.

Eddie already has an in-depth understanding of DM systems having liased closely with the company on a number of major projects - including Medway and Pennine Housing 2000 - where the unique Virtual Matrix capability of Pick-a-Point - coupled with NetVu Connected systems such as the DS2 DVR - proved to be extremely effective in controlling CCTV over a large geographical area.

Said Eddie, commenting on his appointment: "I am extremely pleased to able to take up this important position with Dedicated Micros and AD Group.  A key focus for me moving forward will be to work closely with integrators, installers and end users to support the application of NetVu Connected systems - including Pick-a-Point from BBV - on key projects in the UK and overseas.  In addition, I will be looking to promote the benefits that the widespread adoption of this common architecture can bring across a variety of CCTV systems, from mobile digital DVRs to IP Cameras, facilitating deeper integration in large scale distributed video applications."
