Datacard Group, the world leader in secure ID and card personalisation solutions, recently announced that John Lam, director of marketing and business development in Asia Pacific for Datacard Group, will be presenting at the Asia Pacific Smart Card Association’s (APSCA) 9th Government Discussion Forum on Electronic Identity taking place on Nov. 27-28, 2012 in Hong Kong.
Part of the Next Generation National eID Cards track, the session is titled “Achieving Security in Government Identity Programs and Beyond,” and will be held on Nov. 28th at 9:30 a.m. This presentation will walk attendees through the importance of establishing best practices for their government ID programs to enable trusted transactions and achieve high levels of security by addressing every phase of the identity process—from enrolment to personalisation to issuance to post-issuance management.
“Rapidly changing and increasingly mobile populations are continuing to alter the way that agencies and governments deliver benefits to their citizens,” said Lam. “And, various threats from terrorism, fraud and identity theft demand that identity programs offer the highest levels of security. We are pleased to be presenting on how organisations can maximise security and efficiency and gain flexibility to issue secure, personalised credentials using any issuance combination they choose.”
Datacard Group will also be exhibiting at the show, stand B1 + B2, demonstrating its government product portfolio, which includes best-in-class personalisation hardware, identity management software, and secure supplies that have been implemented in more than 400 government programs in over 100 countries.
