CSL DualCom developed its DigiPlus in collaboration with Vodafone

CSL DualCom Limited have partnered with East Midland Central Station to upgrade 20,000 Digital Communicators with DigiPlus, the latest innovation from Secure Communications Market leader, CSL DualCom.  DigiPlus guarantees legacy Digis to work with the new BT 21CN Network and other Next Generation Networks.  DigiPlus is a joint venture between mobile communications giant, Vodafone and CSL DualCom.  Claire Poyser-Blair of EMCS commented, “This is a great opportunity for our Installers to offer a robust solution to both the 21CN issue and offer cost savings to their customers. CSL have again listened to the market and delivered a cost effective solution that benefits all stakeholders”. CSL’s Commercial Director, Simon Banks added “we have priced DigiPlus to meet the needs of the end-user, ARC and installer and will be working with the UK Insurers to provide 21CN compliance certificates with each product connected“.

DigiPlus is supplied free of charge with a small monthly charge added to the Digi monitoring and allows the Installer to prepare for potential Next Generation Network issues. DigiPlus re-routes the existing Digi on site via a 0800 freefone number to cancel call charges. There is also the option to amend the Digi programming remotely saving a site visit All DigiPlus units can be transferred from ARC to ARC in a volume transfer without the need for costly chip changes.
