The fire safety system will provide a complete building system solution with flexible cause and effect capabilities

An iconic new visitor and education facility being added to the National Memorial to the Few at Capel-le-Ferne, on the famous white cliffs between Dover and Folkestone in Kent, is being protected by a new fire safety system that includes a Kentec fire alarm control panel.

From early 2015 the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust’s iconic new Wing visitor and education centre will be helping visitors find out more about the Battle of Britain. The high-tech, multi-media Scramble Experience will also give people a taste of what life was like to be one of Churchill’s famous ‘Few’ in 1940, while the Geoffrey Page Centre will provide a unique learning environment for schools.

The fire safety system, supplied by ADI Global distribution partners and installed by Red Alert Ltd., is designed around a two-loop Kentec Syncro AS analogue addressable fire control panel that will provide a complete building system solution with flexible cause and effect capabilities.

Kentec’s flagship ‘open protocol’ Syncro series is recognised as one of the most powerful systems of its type on the market today, guaranteeing the very highest standards of performance, safety and reliability that such a hallmark venue demands.
