Intelli-M delivers robust access control over a corporate network using a PoE single door controller
Intransa, the VideoAppliance company, and infinias, a leader in the development and delivery of simple, scalable and secure IP access control systems for the commercial security market, announced that infinias' flagship product, Intelli-M, has achieved Intransa VideoAppliance SELECT Partner certification and is available preloaded on Intransa VideoAppliance platforms.

"infinias is pleased to become certified as an Intransa SELECT Partner and to offer Intelli-M Access software with Intransa VideoAppliance platforms," said infinias President, Wayne Jared. "infinias works hard to innovate robust, simple-to-use access control solutions such as Intelli-M Access. Having our software tested and pre-loaded on Intransa hardware provides another means for infinias dealers and integrators to simplify the install process. By utilising the Intransa VideoAppliance our customers now have Intelli-M access control and video surveillance software integrated on a platform that is ready for even the largest installations. Customers have confidence knowing that the performance tuning and testing has been done in advance. And in these economic times, that's a time and cost savings proposition they can appreciate."

infinias and Intransa offer simple, scalable IP physical security solutions

The Intelli-M product line delivers robust access control over a corporate network using a Power-over-Ethernet single door controller installed at the door and managed by Intelli-M Access software. The browser-based management software employs a framework that provides easy control of access for a single door and scales up to hundreds of doors across multiple sites without costly cabling and wiring. Its innovative rules engine gives users the ability to tailor Intelli-M Access capabilities into high level features for their unique security needs. Intelli-M Access' open-ended architecture provides near limitless security management possibilities by using events from third party applications to trigger actions in Intelli-M Access, and adding new actions to the Intelli-M Access Rules Engine by third party applications to trigger actions in their product.

"infinias and Intransa both focus on improving the customer experience by offering simple, scalable IP physical security solutions, and together our solution delivers a highly integrated, risk-free platform for a wide range of needs,"  said Ayal Vogel, Vice President, Business Development, Intransa. "We are delighted that infinias access control solutions are available with Intransa VideoAppliance."

Each Intransa installer-ready appliance shrinks the complexity and cost of integrating commodity servers, storage and other hardware for demanding physical security needs. While eliminating two, three, four or more commodity server and storage systems with a single, physical security optimised device, Intransa's VideoAppliance includes integration with the customer's choice of software and hardware, including infinias products.

Widely deployed by customers in physical security, industrial video and related markets since introduction in mid-2009, Intransa's VideoAppliance was recently recognised as the Best in Video Storage and Distribution by the Security Industry Association at ISC West 2010, which is the latest in a string of similar awards.

Intransa executives will be on hand in booth 3497, October 12-14, 2010 at ASIS International in Dallas and in booth 817, October 20-21, 2010 at Security Canada Central in Toronto. infinias products will be on display in the Intransa booth on Intransa VideoAppliance.
