Dahua Technology, a world-leading manufacturer and supplier of video surveillance products headquartered in Hangzhou, China recently upgraded its mobile surveillance solution, introducing two mobile storage devices, one for standard definition application and the other for high definition.
Building on the previous version’s performance, the new generation series further levels up from following aspects. First is an optimized UI: an information bar was added at the bottom to indicate basic information such as time, device temperature, driving speed, plate number and real-time connection status of Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS and Dahua DSS platform, a professional CMS for mobile surveillance.
Second, its menu has been re-categorised, configurations related to mobile surveillance, i.e. 3G, Wi-Fi, speed have been classified under “vehicle”, making setup much easier. Third, with built-in power supply and UPS — Uninterruptible Power System, the stability of the system is hence greatly improved. Forth, the new series supports 4G connectivity, providing faster and more stable data transmission in higher image quality.
Specifically speaking, the 4-Channel Mobile standalone DVR (DVR0404ME-UE) supports 1ch@960H & 3ch@CIF real-time recording, the 960H channel could be used for driving behaviour or front door condition monitoring, where incidents may occur at higher probability. The device colour is classic golden and its size is 1DIN, quite compact and easy to install.
As for 4-Channel PoE Mobile NVR (NVR0404MF-I), it is added with intelligent functions, such as plate number recognition as well as customized identification functions, i.e. illegal parking on bus lane snapshot. The device supports 4ch@1080p real-time recording, satisfying applications that posts high demand on image quality.
“Our mobile solution has been proven in many successful installations around the world over these years, such as Russia military, oil/gas pipeline engineering vehicle project and etc.,” said Allen Liu, Product Manager at Dahua Technology. “We listen to market’s voice and keep pace with latest technology; meanwhile, more efforts have been invested to tap the vertical markets, aiming to present the right mobile products and solutions which are of more competitive.”
