Dahua Technology, a world-leading manufacturer and supplier of video surveillance products headquartered in Hangzhou, China introduced HDCVI Gen II cameras, taking a step up into HD over Coax 2.0 era.
“HD over Coax 2.0 is a concept but also a fact that Dahua plays a leading role in HD analogue innovation,” said Tim Shen, Marketing Director at Dahua Technology. “The inspiring market acceptance and feedback drive us to keep innovative to bring out more benefits to the market.”
HDCVI Gen II camera features high performance sensor and Dahua in-house chipset DH5000, which combines Image Signal Processor (ISP) and TX chipset, rendering an impressive performance improvement. The new cameras can not only provide clear and crisp images at 1080p and 720p, but also an outstanding night visual effect.
Moreover, their wider dynamic range can better cope with places of strong lighting contrast. Meanwhile, Gen II inherits convenient functions of previous HDCVI models, such as HD/SD switch and OSD menu.
As for camera types, in addition to the fixed lens cameras, the CVI family adds 2.7mm to 12mm motorised (-Z) and vari-focal (-VF) series this time to further meet the market demand. As for motorized ones, which have been expected for a long time by the market, Dahua adopts optimized algorithm to realize faster and more accurate focus for instant and convenient adjustment.
On top of that, there are seven models in total in various designs, including eye-balls, IR-bullet and domes with IP66 waterproof and IK10 vandal-resistance helps cameras to withstand strict environment condition and sabotages.
HDcctv Allinace HDCVI 2.0 standard is based on HDCVI technology, which is to say, Dahua dedicates to a 100% sure plug ‘n’ play remote control of any camera from any compliant DVR among manufacturers. “Dahua advocates interoperability, and the cooperation with HDcctv Alliance accelerates the development to HD, which, undoubtedly, helps our growing customer to enjoy more of the benefits of HD surveillance,” Shen added.
The latest HDCVI family will be displayed at Security China 2014 from 28th October to 1st November. Visitors are encouraged to have a hand-on operation and face-to-face communication to enjoy real and easy analogue HD solution.
