Matrox demonstrates the new Matrox VDA-1164 Video Decoding Accelerator (VDA) and Matrox Morphis Evo at ASIS
Matrox, the industry leader in software and hardware solutions in the fields of Graphics, Video editing and Image processing, will demonstrate the new Matrox VDA-1164 Video Decoding Accelerator (VDA) and Matrox Morphis Evo for the security surveillance market at the 2009 American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) international tradeshow.

Designed specifically for use in workstations running Video Management System (VMS) software like Milestone XProtect™ Smart Client, the Matrox VDA-1164 supports simultaneous decoding of up to 16 D1 video streams from a wide variety of devices, while displaying the multiple individual streams in native resolution-at full frame rate-on up to four high-definition (Quad HD) displays.

Consisting of an IP video decoder board and a full HD, quad-output board, VDA-1164 is an ideal solution for single-seat surveillance systems or in control room operator stations monitoring large-scale IP-based security networks.

Developed for image capture in CCTV systems and DVRs, the Matrox Morphis Evo video capture card supports multi-channel real-time H.264 encoding. A single Matrox Morphis Evo easily captures, compresses, transmits and displays up to 16 full D1 video streams simultaneously.

Matrox Imaging hardware and software products simplify ANPR application development and costs. The Matrox Iris GT smart camera is a high-performance, single-device solution for access control and parking surveillance applications.
