MIPS all set to showcase Nedap Security Management’s latest security solutions
Nedap will be present at the Moscow International Protection & Security Exhibition in April

Nedap Security Management will attend the Moscow International Protection & Security Exhibition, MIPS, that will be held from 19 to 22 April 2010 in the Expocentre in Moscow, Russia. The trade fair is the largest and one of the key meeting grounds for communicating the safety and security industry developments in Russia, Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States. The industry's major players gather in Moscow to discuss trends in the industry and test out the latest offerings from national and international suppliers.

Nedap Security Management has started its activities in the Russian market about two years ago and is rapidly expanding its business in the region. Since there is a potentially large and promising market for security solutions, the MIPS is the perfect venue for Nedap to exhibit its security management system AEOS, a powerful, user-friendly access control and security management system based on smart network technology.

Nedap's access control system AEOS is renowned for its multiple card reader technology

The MIPS is a great opportunity for visitors to see how the AEOS system can comply with the wishes of many end users for high quality and flexible solutions. Nedap's system AEOS is renowned for its multiple card reader technology. It can interchangeably read different technologies, making it a multi-functional and convenient security solution. At the MIPS, Nedap will also show the AP6003, its IP access controller that communicates with an AEpu via Ethernet instead of the traditional AEbus. The advantages of using IP-based communication are obvious, when customers decide to use their existing IP infrastructure; they will have less installation and maintenance costs, thus fully optimising their investments.

The MIPS will also be the opportunity to get to know the Graphical Alarm Handler, a web-based tool to handle alarms in AEOS, giving a clear overview of the security status of the premises. Thanks to the graphical representation of buildings, floor plans and alarm points, it provides users with a convenient instrument to visualise and control alarms. In a glimpse the security manager has all the important information at his disposal, status of the doors, armed intrusion points, alarm points, etc.

Nedap's Russian business partners Vostok Special Systems and 7 Person Ltd. will be present at the Nedap booth, providing you with the opportunity to meet them as well.
